Dogs are welcome
During the Spring and Summer months, there is no feeling greater than soaking up the sun by the bay with your furry friend in tow, and there is nowhere more perfect to do so, than our sun terrace at The Royal Duchy Hotel.
You don’t need to be staying with us to enjoy the view and our terrace is now dog-friendly so if you're local to us you can join us for a drink or bite to eat after a bracing walk along the bay.
With a menu containing the quintessential classics and a drinks menu containing a comprehensive wine list, local ales on tap and some crafty cocktails, the terrace is the perfect place to overlook Falmouth Bay’s summertime in its prime.
A couple of ground rules...
With that in mind, we have set a few ground rules for guests visiting the terrace with their furry friends. Dogs must be:
Kept on a lead at all times
With their handlers at all times, so never left unattended
Kept off the lawn
Dogs paws must be kept on the floor not the furniture
Dog owner must pick up any accidents (no bins provided)
Please keep to the designated area
We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any dog thought to be dangerous or disruptive to visitors or other dogs.
No visit to Cornwall would be complete without a Cornish cream tea with freshly baked scones, lashings of Cornish clotted cream and jam. For a special treat, we also offer a scrumptious full afternoon tea or Champagne afternoon tea. All are served daily in the elegant surroundings of the Terrace Lounge or outside on the terrace with its dramatic sea views. What could be lovelier?
You’ve set out for a bracing walk, rambled over the Falmouth coast paths and strolled along the local beaches. Now it’s time to warm up and indulge and there’s nothing more delicious than tucking into a roast dinner for Sunday Lunch!
