The maximum occupancy of the apartment is 6 guests. This includes any infants or children. Exceeding the stated maximum occupancy is not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the booking without a refund. A travel cot and highchair are avalaible on request.

Check-in is at The Royal Duchy Hotel reception, where you will be issued with a unique door code to access the apartment. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request and subject to an additional charge.
Two private parking spaces are available in the hotel's general car park, both with EV charging capability.
All cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and acknowledged by us.
- Cancellations or postponements 28 days or more prior to arrival: your non-refundable deposit will be retained, and no further charges will be incurred.
- Cancellation within 28 days of arrival: The full balance is non-refundable.
- Postponements within 28 days of arrival: The full balance will be retained and applied to a future booking, subject to availability and at our discretion.
We strongly recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
No pets are allowed at No.1 The Duchy except registered assistance animals. We do however, allow dogs on the hotel's outdoor terrace.
For stays of 7 nights or more, one complimentary mid-stay housekeeping service is included. Bed linen and towels are provided at the start of your stay and will not be changed during your visit unless this housekeeping service is scheduled or an additional housekeeping service is booked.
Additional housekeeping services can be arranged in advance and are subject to availability and charges.
As guests of No1. The Duchy, you have full access to all Royal Duchy Hotel facilities, including the indoor swimming pool, terrace and restaurant. You will be treated as a hotel resident for the duration of your stay. Access to hotel facilities is subject to the hotel's own terms of use and opening hours, which may vary.

As a guest of No.1 The Duchy, you are welcome to dine at the hotel throughout your stay. Whether you're joining us for breakfast or dinner, we recommend reserving your table in advance to ensure availability. Please contact our Reception Team, who will be happy to make the necessary arrangements for you.

The kitchen is finished to a high standard with AEG appliances including oven with air-fryer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge and freezer.

from the hotel reception.
• AEG dishwasher - tablets in the cupboard under the sink.
• AEG washer-dryer - instructions on the inside of the cupboard door.

Living area
• Smart TV: switch on using the remote on the coffee table. Log in to your own
streaming accounts if you wish - please remember to log out on departure.
• Air conditioning: the remote is on the windowsill. Please close windows when the air conditioning is running.
• The sofa bed: instructions for unfolding are in the folder on the coffee table.
Bedrooms
• Both beds can be configured as super-king or twins - please let us know before arrival if you have a preference for future bookings.
• Spare blankets and pillows are in the wardrobes.
Bathroom
• Walk-in shower: the controls are straightforward. Please allow 20 seconds for the water to run warm.
• Towels are provided. Please use the floor for wet towels rather than furniture.
Surfboard & wetsuit storage
• Please rinse wetsuits before hanging them to dry.
