Apprentice Commis Chef

Apprenticeship (40 hours per week )



As a commis chef you will prepare food and carry out cooking tasks under the supervision of a more senior chef whilst developing your skills and passion for cooking.  A commis chef apprenticeship is a junior culinary role, but it is the gateway to start a career in a professional kitchen.  

As an apprentice you will learn how to carry out the basic functions in every section of the kitchen. This will give you the opportunity to experience each section before choosing an area where you feel most inspired.

Our apprenticeship programme will develop your skills in job specific key areas such as, customer service and food hygiene communicationskills and much more. You could also benefit from potential opportunities for career progression within the company.

The apprenticeship will take minimum of one year to complete and will be delivered in association with HIT Training Ltd.
