Daffodil trail | National Trust Trelissick

Perched at the head of the Fal Estuary, Trelissick Gardens boasts jaw-dropping views and a huge array of plant species.

A welcoming house and varied garden with incredible spring blooms and mixed borders with bright summer and autumn flowers. Quite literally at the water's edge, you can catch the ferry from Truro, Falmouth or the Roseland Peninsula to land at this waterside estate. At its heart, the 40-acre garden itself is a year-round display of colourful blooms, noted for its camellias, rhododendrons and a collection of photinia and azaleas. But it's not just the tranquil gardens and tender species that set Trelissick apart from the rest; nestled in no less than 375-acres of parkland and woodland, this is most definitely one of the finest gardens for walkers. Extensive trails meander through the woodland, traverse the parkland and follow the riverside.

Trelissick Gardens need your daffodil identifying skills to work out the names of eight daffodils in the Daffodil trail. This March experience acres of daffodils with Trelissick. Pick up a children's daffodil trail from reception and use the descriptions to identify the daffodil name, the perfect day for all the family.
