We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef De Partie to join our team at The Royal Duchy Hotel.

The Royal Duchy - part of the Brend Hotels - is a luxury 2 AA Rosette 4* Hotel in Falmouth.  Brend Hotels is a family run company that has been a leader in West Country hospitality for over 50 years.  The group has steadily built up a collection of fabulous hotels and restaurants across Devon and Cornwall that now features 11 luxury hotels and 18 restaurants  


The Role 
The successful candidate will have 2 AA Rosette experience minimum, at a Chef De Partie level.  They would be overseeing all day to day running of the sauce section and must be capable of working with an established team of approximately 9 chefs whilst reporting directly to the Head Chef.

As Chef De Partie you will be expected to organise your own prep, run your section during service and work elsewhere in the kitchen as directed by the Head Chef.

Good knowledge of current food trends, passion to work with high quality, seasonal produce supported by good organisation, communication & cooking skills.

Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh quality food, with excellent attention to detail and a creative flair.  You will be a reliable, committed and self-motivated professional chef with strong all-round kitchen skills and a positive working attitude to work.  Previous experience in a high volume (around 75 covers) cooking to 2 AA Rosette standard is essential.  The role offers, progression, mentorship and training.

Interviews will include a cooking trial
48-hour week (5 splits and occasional straights)
